Our volunteer Board is made up of musicians and non-musicians dedicated to supporting band and band educators across Alberta. The ABA board is dedicated to fostering the diverse and creative programs that have made the Alberta Band Association an exciting association. Board members must attend programs and meetings of the Association.

Join a Committee

Committees work with ABA staff and contractors on detailed planning and program delivery.  Volunteer roles include such areas as guest artist hospitality, food and beverage planning, coordinating and locating gear, and chaperoning.  

Committees play a key role in these projects and programs:

• Alberta Junior Honour Bands
• Alberta Wind Symphony
• Music Conference Alberta
• Festival of Bands
• Run For Music
• Alberta Jazz Ensemble

Volunteers are needed for ABA's 2023 Casino September 30th & October 1st, 2023 @ Pure Casino Edmonton.
Casino funding is an essential part of ABA's annual revenue. By Volunteering you are helping to support our programs and the Alberta band community
